Hello my name is Samuel Bifalco and This is my blog!
I am a product strategist that specializes in mobile products. I have about seven years experience and a portfolio of software products that truly solve problems, processes, and workflows. I like to come up with innovative solutions to problems and leverage technology in the process. Each product is inspired from a true need, whether in your day to day personal life, all the way to enterprize utilities.
Product is my passion. Ever since middle school working at my grandfathers architectural engineering firm, ive always had a keen eye and passion for design. Throughout highschool and college I designed 3D renderings, physical products, packaging, websites, mobile apps, and just about anything else that grew from an idea. It was only until college, I turned this practice into a business that specializes in mobile app products. After college, I teamed up with a bunch of like minded individuals and started a design and development studio called Orchid Labs.
At 27 years old I have a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in entrepreneurship and marketing. June of this year I will be graduating with a Masters in Information Assurance with a specialization in Network Defense. I and the founder and CEO of a mobile design and development studio. And my full time day job is leading the mobile initiatives at a software company who builds leading construction solutions in the form of technology.
So why did I start a blog?!?
If you’ve made it this far down the page, im glad your still with me. Your probaly thinking right now who is Samuel and why should I come back to read his blog. There are many other blogs I already read so, common Dammit! Impress me already.
I have built a library of design, development, and now security resources over the years. These resources I want to share with the world because they speed up workflows and create efficiency in the design and development process. I feel every neebie or even expert could use these resources to become more educated in the areas of design, development, and security. These resources are composed of:
- Design articles
- Sketch files
- Web/app component sets
- Stater idea apps
- Code snippets
Some people are born with a design mindset and keen eye, and some people have to put in the many hours to learn design through practice and dedication. This blog will walk you through why I design, and how I do it through best practices, guiding principles, and methodologies. I ‘m always looking for feedback so feel free to be as critical as you want so I can constantly improve all that I do.
I hope you enjoyed meeting me and please stay tuned for future posts.
